Who Is This Beast That Rises Out Of The Pit?

And the angel said unto me, Wherefore dist
thou marvel? I will tell thee the mystery of the woman,
and of the beast that carrieth her, which hath
the seven heads and ten horns. The beast that hour
sawest was, and is not; and shall ascend out of the bottomless pit, and go into perdition: and they that
dwell on the earth shall wonder, whose names were
not written in the book of life from the foundation
of the world, when they behold the beast that was,
and is not, and yet is. And here is the mind which
hath wisdom. The seven heads m ountains, on
which the woman sitteth. And there are seven kings:
five are fallen, and one is, and the other is not
yet come; and when he cometh, he must continue
a short space. And the beast that was, and is not,
even he is the eighth, and is of the seven, and
goeth into perdition. And the ten horns which thou
sawest are ten kings, which have received no
kingdom as yet; but receive power as kings one
hour with the beast. These have one mind, and
shall give their power and strength unto the beast.
These shall make war with the Lamb, and the
Lamb shall overcome them: for He is Lord of lords,
and King of kings: and they that are with Him
are called, and chosen, and faithful.
Revelation 17:8-14

Once again I must give a preface to this blog. My goal is to aid people to change from the inside/out and to do this a person must use critical thinking and not just go along with whatever is said by a person on matter their education, degree or position in the Church. To do this I have used Greek to aid a person, and to use the dictionary to clarify words that have more than one meaning. Many only see one meaning and do not take the time to educate themselves as to other meanings of a word. For instance: Beast. What is a beast? For many a beast is a monster, it is Gonzilla, or an ancient animal of the past as in Jurassic Park, or other such so-called animals seen as beast. That all may be true but there is another meaning that we all must know. A beast is defined as a nonhuman animal, or a crude animal nature common to humans and other animals. And, a cruel or coarse, or filthy person. (Webster's Dictionary). This definition of a cruel or filthy being fits this symbol of the word translated beast. Another word: Perdition. This word means a state of final spiritual ruin, even a loss of the soul: damnation. Or, an utter destruction or ruin. This fits the beast or another person, being that is acting contrary to God and His commands. This ugly, filthy, coarse person is at war with God and in these verses we can see that this person causes a particular war against Jesus Christ. This mysterious being is know revealed to John and we can read that this beast was once was, then gone for a while, revived and allowed to rise from the pit. What is this pit? First a pit is a hole or cavity in the ground, and can be also a trap. It can be the abode of evil spirits and lost souls. It can also mean to be marked or set in opposition as one against another, it can also be a retention of a depression as when a finger is pressed against the skin. To rise from the pit suggests that this being was in a "cavity," a "hole," and is in the pit due to being in opposition to God.
When John is given the answer as to this beast it is to be found that it is a complete, or complete in opposition to God, seven, and is sits on the mountains, that is the people, especially those in power, completely is sitting on the nations of this world. It is complete in itself but the final completion literally has yet to come to completion, but is to come but will only last a short space, the Greek means a little while. This beast gives power to the kings of this earth, and kings could be literal kings, or refer to those in power: i.e., pastors, leaders, of the Church who are preaching and teaching in opposition to God's commands even against God. These kings have one mind and by their actions, their preaching, their teaching give to the beast power, power of mankind who will listen and follow after the beast. They fight against Jesus Christ but lose the battle for Jesus overcomes them and all who are with Him, those who are overcomers, victorious due to their faithfulness. These victorious are the called ones, the Church who are the called out ones according the Greek. They are chosen and have been chosen before the foundation, their names written in the Book of Life.
How could you be chosen and have your name written in the Book of Life before the foundation? Simple! God resides in NO TIME: you do, you live in sequential time, but not God. God was, is, and will be. God sees all as having been completed for He knows all even before it happens in our sequential time. God calls! You respond! God calls and gives mercy, salvation and you have done nothing to earn that salvation it is a free gift, but you must accept that gift. That gift is Jesus Christ and then to have the Holy Spirit reside in you writing you in the Book of Life. You cannot be removed from the Book of Life, as some teach, for God sees you for eternity through His Son Jesus Christ and your faith in Jesus Christ. Yes, your faith may waver a bit, and you need to grow in your sanctification and seen as a faithful and discreet slave, but all that does not save you, only your belief in Jesus Christ. As an overcomer you want and will do the will of God according to His commands. This means to not listen to the beast, those preaching another gospel. You must be victorious and you can be with the help of the Holy Spirit but you must allow the Holy Spirit to help.
Think on this: you are chosen, chosen to live eternally in heaven, to have a body incorruptible, immutable, in heaven, in a new world where there is and will never be a beast, an ugly filthy beast to try to derail your faith. Now is the time to live as what you are: a called-out person, called by God, given by God eternal life. Eternal life begins now not just after the return of Jesus. Now is the time. Question: will you change inside/out and critically think upon this and live according to the simple, straight forward words of Scripture?

Depart ye, depart ye, go ye out
    from thence, touch no unclean
thing: go ye out of the midst of her;
be ye clean, that bear the vessel
of the LORD.
               Isaiah 52:11

You are either beastly, or godly!
