The Call To The Marriage Supper

And after these things I heard a great voice of 

much people in heaven, saying, Alleluia; Salvation, 

and glory, and honor, and power unto the Lord our God: 

for true and righteous are His judgments: for He hath judged the great whore, which did corrupt the earth 

with her fornication, and hath avenged the blood of His servants at her hand. And again they said, Alleluia. And her smoke rose up for ever and ever. And the four and twenty elders and the four beasts fell down and worshiped God that sat on the throne, saying, Amen; Alleluia. And a voice came out of the throne, saying, Praise our God, all ye His servants, and ye that fear Him, both small and great. 

And I heard as it were the voice of a great multitude, 

and as the voice of many waters, and as the voice 

mighty thunderings, saying, Alleluia: for the Lord God omnipotent reigneth. Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honor to Him: for the marriage of he Lamb is come,

 and His wife hath made herself ready. And to her was granted that she should be arrayed in fine linen, 

clean and white: for the fine linen is the 

righteousness of saints. And he saith unto me, 

Write, Blessed are they which are called unto the 

marriage supper of the Lamb. And he saith unto me, 

These are the true sayings of God. And I fell at his feet to worship him. And he  said unto me, See thou do it not: 

I am thy fellow servant, and of thy brethren that 

have the testimony of Jesus: worship God: 

for the testimony of Jesus is the

 spirit of prophecy.

Revelation 19: 1-10 

     This vision of John is coming to a completion and now he sees and hears this great voice of people in heaven. Those in heaven are praising God for His salvation, and for His glory, honor and power and this to the Lord our God. Notice phrase: "the Lord our God." Now if this was praise just to God then it have been said: "our God." But it did not: it said: "the Lord our God." Jesus is called our Lord, and God is called our Lord making those two words to refer to one and the same being. God's judgments are true and righteous and now by His judgment the whore who has and is at this time corrupting the earth. This corruption is to fornicate with the world while speaking that they are true Christians when in fact all they are are merchants of this whore Babylon the Great. Now God is avenging His servants, those who are Authentic Christians as had the whore avenged the blood of God's servants. The whore was taking satisfaction in her followers so that she would be the one who is the leader of Christians. God says: NO! God then avenges or takes exact satisfaction to rid this whore of all that she has done and exacts His judgments upon her. This avenging is not a short time or has a time limit, no, it is forever. The smoke of her destruction rises for ever and ever. 

     This destruction causes  the four and twenty elders and the four beasts to fall down and worship God. The elders representing all who have remained faithful to God and to those beasts who have repented and turn their worship to God. It is God on the throne praising Him and even the servants of God, small and great praise God making a thunderous sound for our Lord and God who reigneth. 

     We have now a picture of God concluding His promise to rid the world of sin. Those Authentic Christians are clothed in clean, white linen. The linen is white representing the righteousness of His saints. Authentic Christians are the bride of Christ. Like the Judean marriage a man and woman pledge to each other to marry and this takes a year. In this year, this time of waiting the man makes ready for his bride. As the bride waits she adorns herself to please her marriage to the one she loves. When the time is  complete the man goes and gets his wife to be and the marriage is completed and a marriage supper is provided for all who attend the wedding. Those invited to the wedding are blessed and are called to marriage supper. Jesus has come and betrothed Himself to all those who are called to be His bride and is preparing a place for all those who are His bride. The question is: Are you preparing for the marriage supper? Or, are you just thinking that you will receive an invitation although not preparing for this supper. Do you think that you are called to be one of His bride do to anything you have done? Jesus called you, you did not call Jesus.

     John was so astonished that he started to fall down and worship the one who brought to him this vision of the destruction of Babylon the Great, and the calling of those He called to the marriage supper. The angel rebuked him for attempting to do so. Why? Only God receives our worship. No angel receives our worship. Jehovah Witnesses worship and angel who they say is Jesus. This is contrary to the law of God. Mormons, worship a created being that they say is Jesus and they too are in contradiction to the Law of God. 

     This testimony, that is this vision given to John is the testimony of Jesus and of His spirit of prophecy. Be as the twenty four elders and those four beasts, repent, convert, and believe on Jesus as your Savior, your personal Savior for He came to save you. He is calling: do you hear Him? He is calling: are you willing to respond? 

But now, O LORD, thou art 

    our Father; we are the clay,

and thou our potter; and we all

   are the work of thy hand.

                Isaiah 64:8

God is calling: Will you respond?
