Learning To Understand Just Who Is Jesus Christ

I will therefore put you in remembrance,
though ye once knew this, how that the Lord,
having saved the people out of the land of Egypt,
afterward destroyed them that believed not.
And the angels which kept not their first estate,
but left their own habitation, He reserved
in everlasting chains under darkness unto
the judgment of the great day.
Jude 5-6

Jude brings to mind someone called: Lord. Who is this Lord? Is it the way that the Jews called Jehovah so that they would not use that sacred name? Or, not? Context, context, context, is the way to understand Scripture and in verse 4 Jude tells who this Lord is: it is Jesus Christ. So then, it was Jesus Christ before His incarnation that delivered the Hebrews from the clutch of the Egyptians. It was Jesus Christ that destroyed the unbelievers. It was Jesus Christ that put into chains of darkness the angles that left their first estate. It is Jesus Christ that is reserving them for judgment at the great day, the day when Jesus come for His bride. The Father and the Only Begotten Son, and the Holy Spirit are always conjoined to be one, not three, not two, not separate, but One, the Godhead. Jesus Christ came to earth to pay this debt of sin that man cannot ever pay. It is this Jesus that has throughout the ages led His people, saved His people and brought judgment upon those unbelievers, even the angels that left their position in heaven. Only Jesus can cause a being to be reserved for punishment and only Jesus can be the measuring for a being to be saved or destroyed. We all know the story of Sodom and Gomorrah and their destruction. Why were they destroyed? Fornication heads the list, and when Jude speak of them going over to strange flesh does not give the Greek its good translation. The Greek says: "in like with them manner having given themselves to fornication and having gone after flesh other" (Jude 7). This "going after other flesh" is absolutely against the reason why men and women  are made the way they are for they are the complement for each other and for their progeny. To have sex with and animal is to go after other flesh and this is abnormal in every way. Jude wrote: "Even as Sodom and Gomorrah, and the cities around them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire" (Jude 7). There is no salvation for those who have giving themselves over to lustful fornication, and lustful living and by this are disobedient unto death. Now, God is merciful as we have or can see in Scripture that if a person truly repents of their sin and changes their life to follow after His commands, that then is the only way they can be saved from eternal destruction.
Jude puts in remembrance of these things for us to learn how we are to live as Authentic Christians. Those so-called Christian Churches that allow homosexuals to be part of the the ministry are not following these examples that God will destroy those who will not convert to Him and leave their life of sin behind. WAIT! This goes for you too! You do not have to be such a sinner as is a homosexual, nor the one committing adultery and or other sins, no, as my dad used to say: "you can go to hell for stealing the same for lying." Sin is sin! You must convert and this conversion is only truthful if you change your course of life to conform to the commands of God. PERIOD!
Will you convert? Will you believe on Jesus Christ and make Him your personal Savior? Are you hoping that you will be saved, or do you know for sure that you are saved. God will reserve the sinner for everlasting destruction, yet, on the other side of that coin, God will reserve His children to have everlasting life. The choice is yours! Some will say: "I am elected so no matter what I am going to heaven." Your election is to be elected to have everlasting life if you have truly believed upon the Lord Jesus Christ. God does not pick and choose His children, as some teach, no, you are saved by your faith, this free gift, not because you can earn it, no, you are to choose to believe and this belief comes about by your faith and faith comes by hearing the word of God. It is free! But you must choose. Will you?

Thou hast clothed me with skin and flesh,
and hast fenced me with bones and sinews.
Thou hast granted me life and favour, and thy
     visitation hath preserved my spirit.
and these thing hast thou hid in thine heart:
I know that this is with Thee.
                            Job 10:11-13

Choose today: who will you follow? You or God?
