And Enoch also, the seventh from Adam,
prophesied of these, saying, Behold,
the Lord cometh with ten thousands
of His saints, to execute judgment upon all,
and to convince all that all ungodly among
them of all their ungodly deeds which they
have ungodly committed, and of all their
hard speeches which ungodly sinners have
spoken against Him. These are murmurers,
complainers, walking after their own lusts;
and their mouth speaketh great speaking words,
having men's persons in admiration
because of advantage.
Jude 14-16
The fact that 10's of thousands of His saints come and this event was told to us: "And He said, The LORD came from Sinai, and rose up from Seir unto them; He shined froth from mount Paran, and He came with ten thousands of saints; from His right hand went a fiery law for them. Yea, He loved the people; all His saints are in they hand: and the sat down at Thy feet; every one shall receive of Thy words" (Deuteronomy 33:2-3). In Deuteronomy the saints were involved in a time of judgment and here in Jude the saints are involved in a time of judgment. Men, women, children, all will be judged according to their works of ungodliness. Their very words, those hard things to understand that they have twisted to fit their theology a theology that does not have a Scriptural foundation, called sinners. In fact, they are the murmurers, that is, they find many things to wail against by other Churches, those denominations that have things that they do not believe are Scriptural when in fact those things are things of indifference as their things, those beliefs of indifference that they desire to make doctrine and force others to adhere to their false doctrines. Oh, they speak so eloquently, they sound so Scriptural when in fact they are using Scripture to prove their doctrine when Authentic Christians use Scripture to give to them doctrine. The English word "advantage" in Greek means profit, those so-called Christian men and women are gaining profit and this can be seen by the lives they live, those rich, very rich lives at the cost of those they have indoctrinated of their false teaching, that false gospel. We must run from them, change Churches, maybe have to leave friends behind who will not leave, to be misunderstood, yet this is required of us if we are to be Authentic Christians. Do not fight over indifference, fight over that which is true Scriptural difference. Example: Some require that babies be baptized, others do not, and often both sides rail at the other that they are not doing Scriptural baptizing. Let us get this one thing straight: You are not saved by being baptized and you are not getting from God anything other than you are professing in this sacrament that you are a Christian, that you believe in God. Now with that which is Scriptural we may address certain requirements that are being forced upon, taught as the"only" way, that they have the truth in this matter. Or what about when, what time should Sunday worship begin, or what day, or....or....or....etc. when all these things are man's theology. When a Church, a denomination requires that which is not Scriptural, no matter how many "proof" Scriptures they use, they are not speaking the truth. They so often love the admiration they get from being "so" godly. They are not, in fact they could be among the ungodly. Jude under inspiration gives us this advice: "But, beloved, remember ye the words which were spoken before of the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ; how that they told you there should be mockers in the last time, who should walk after their own ungodly lusts. These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit" (Jude 17-19).
Let us end this book with the words of Jude: "But ye, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost, keep yourselves in the love of God, looking for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ unto eternal life. And of some have compassion, making a difference: and others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire, hating even the garment spotted by the flesh" (Jude 20-23).
Final words of Jude: "Now unto Him that is able to keep you from falling, and to present you faultless before the presence of His glory with exceeding joy, to the only wise God our Saviour, be glory and majesty, dominion and power, both now and ever. Amen. (Jude 24-25).
I will now go trembling into the book of Revelation. This book will take time and I will not give to you anecdotes or stories, or theories, but will address this book in such a way as to build up your faith, to change you from the inside/out, which is the goal, the purpose of this blog.
Also I said, It is not good that ye do:
ought ye not to walk in the fear of our God
