Ignorance And Indifference Are Sins--Our Devotion To God Leads Us To Be Neither

Most assuredly, I say to you,
he who does not enter the
sheepfold by the door,
but climbs up some other
way, the same is a thief and
a robber. But he who enters
by the door is the shepherd
of the sheep. to him the
doorkeeper opens,
and the sheep hear his voice,
and he calls his own sheep
by name and leads them out.
John 10:1-3

Jesus make it very clear and plain: He is the door of the sheep: "Then Jesus said to them again, 'Most assuredly, I say to you, I am the door of the sheep" (John 10:7). We cannot be ignorant of this fact unless we just will not examine what the Bible says and if it does go against what you believe then you avoid the Scripture, and you become indifferent to the plain words of Jesus Christ. Ignorance goes beyond theology, we can be simply ignorant of the facts about the world around us, in fact we just ignore those facts and go about doing whatever pleases us, we are indifferent. This is blasphemy against God who calls us to be the light of the world as He is the Light of the world. When you read or hear of facts, do you just ignore them because you do not want to be bothered? We cannot stick our heads in the sand, for if we do, then someone will come along and kick us in the butt; you cannot avoid some things. Take this important fact: For a nation to remain, that is, a people of a nationality to continue and not become extinct there needs to be more births than deaths. Simple, right? But we ignore the fact that in many countries, including the United States American people are losing their identity by not keeping up with that fact, there needs to be more births than deaths: this is not happening! Americans are falling behind massively, for we are not keeping up with births, and we are losing to others who are birthing are great rates and are becoming the nationality of America. (I could say the same for the European nations as well). Is it because many Christians are just apathetic, indifferent, maybe even ignorant? Are we so accustomed to being entertained by some shouting, good speaking, extrovert, who may hold the Bible up but preaches other things that tickle our ears, that we feel that we are so pious, so acceptable to God that we don't really need to get involved with such things as the fact that Islam has not forgotten its purpose, its goal to become the only religion on earth and will do this at any cost, and now has found a way to win, and this be simple our birthing, making converts, and becoming a global political/religious system. Look at some facts: Muslims will be more than one-quarter of the Earth's population by 2030, according to a study released, that Muslims, whose numbers have been growing at a faster rate than all other groups combined. The Muslims are doing whatever they can to counter negative perceptions. There are more than 1200 mosques in the United States, and according Imam Johari Abdul-Malik,(The outreach director of a mosque in Falls Church, VA.), their mosques and schools are already overflowing. If immigration patterns and Muslims' comparatively higher birth rates continue, Pew projects that U.S. Muslims will go from a tiny minority now, less than 1% of the to nation to 1.7%, that is a jump from 2.6 million people in 2010 to 6.2 million. Immigration to U.S. is horrid, not only for the Mexicans who cross the border illegally, but for the Muslim who are not national, or those born in the U.S. for 64.%% of U.S. Muslim were born abroad. Ibrahim Hooper, spokesman for the Council on American-Islamic Relations, says, "We Muslims need to redouble our outreach efforts because of growing challenges from the vocal minority who see us as suspect."
As Christians this may seem overwhelming, but it is only a larger population that we can reach with the Gospel. God is placing them in our "lap" and we can with intentionality witness to them, live as Christians so that they can see that God is not some God who desires that all come under one religion, Islam in this case, but God who calls His people out of the nations. We are His voice to do just that: so the question is are you willing to remove ignorance from your life, and to cast away indifference and become completely devoted to God and be used by God to reach His people with the Gospel? Are you willing to put away such things that is keeping you satisfied with your Christianity, things that make you feel that you are doing things that please God? Going to Church is good, and important, but to do so, to fellowship with your brothers and sisters in Christ is to do only that which God has called us to do, so get over it, going to Church will not put a gold star next to your name. Authentic Christians do what the Bible says to do, to be what the Bible says we are, anything else is not Authentic Christianity: "Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; old things have passed away; behold, all things have become new. Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation. Now then, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were pleading through us: we implore you on Christ's behalf, be reconciled to God" (2Corinthians 5:17-20). For Authentic Christians there is no excuse: we are new creatures, we are Ambassadors for Christ; therefore, live according to this fact.
Many "Christians" think that they are on their way to heaven, but have faulty ideas, and as William Wilberforce called them, "cultural Christians" and these "Christians have faulty ideas of what it means to be an Authentic Christian. This will be addressed with the goal in mind to change from the inside out, to become truly Authentic Christians, ambassadors for Christ.

And what agreement has the
     temple of God with idols?
For you are the temple of the
living God. as God has said:
"I will dwell in them and walk
among them. I will be their
God, and they shall be My people."
                                  2 Corinthians 6:16

Pray That God will Reveal His Will For You
