And you He made
alive, who were dead
in trespasses and
sins, in which you once
walked according to
the course of this world,
according to the
prince of the power
of the air, the
spirit who now works
in the sons of
disobedience,
among whom also we
all once conducted
ourselves in the
lusts of our flesh,
fulfilling the
desires of the flesh
and of the mind, and
were by nature
children of wrath,
just as the others.
Ephesians 2:1–3
Sin,
original sin, that which was thrust upon all mankind, and all creation was
cause for death and destruction of all that God had created: this was fitting
as to the justice of God Who is Just. Yet, by His mercy He made alive those who
were dead in trespasses and sins, those lusts which are from the first fallen
creature of the universe, Satan. Lusts are that which we must have in the
immediate; now, not later, a must have at any cost and it is this lust that is
sin, that lead to the pragmatic use of that lust causing a person to be
disobedient. By the grace of God such ruination of man was propitiated by
sending His Only Begotten Son Jesus Christ to pay this debt. God is not owed
anything, for He is the Almighty and we cannot owe Him anything for all that is
belongs to Him, but we who once conducted ourselves accord to the desires, the
lusts of the flesh can be made alive and the death that is to be met by the
fulfilling of the Justice of God is met in His Son who died upon the cross as a
man, a perfect man, not one who had the corruption of Adam in Himself, being
then able to be the exact payment for sin. God sees His children through the
death, resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ. We were once children of
wrath. This then is the question: How did we become a child of wrath? By what
we did? Those things that we do? Much of what we do and say is sinful, for we
are still sinners by nature, but by Jesus Christ we are forensically free from
wrath and are now in heaven and all we are is waiting to die, to be alive in
Him under the throne of God. We did not acquire sin, we were born in sin, the
ruination caused by Adam was the perpetuation of his sin upon all his progeny.
We then being in sin because we were cursed from the womb is verified by what
Paul wrote, “we were by nature children of wrath, as all others are, that is
even the children of God were born in sin, as sinners and in need of a Savior.
This nature of man is not the nature that God created, but is that which is
vitiated in Adam, and this then removes all guilt that would make God the
author of sin. There is then a need for a rebirth, not as being placed back
into the womb of a woman, no, rather that our birth should be new, a rebirth of
that which was lost, our spirit and communication with God, for as Jesus said: “That
which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is
spirit” (John 3:6). The gate of life, that is the life which is no longer
subjugated to sin, the removal of the one that caused sin, the first sinner of
the universe, Satan, that is why it is important to pray the Lord’s prayer: “In
this manner, therefore, pray: Our Father in heaven, hallowed by Your name. Your
kingdom come, Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day
our daily bread. And forgive us our debts as we forgive sou7r debtors. And do
not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. For Yours is the
kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen” (Matthew 6:9–13). Some
translations leave out the word “one’ and just said “evil” but the Greek is
clear that this is speaking of a “one’ a personage that we need to have help in
removing or keeping from us for our sanctification is not complete on this
earth and we are still subjugate to sin, but the time is coming when the gate
of life will be open and all those who were regenerated will be made alive,
death holds no bond.
To those
who hold to the doctrine of the soul, that the soul preexists do not have
Scriptural foundation, and furthermore they make God an author of sin, as do
the Traducianists, for Scripture is clear and plain, God gives to man their
soul, and this soul has the attributes of God and furthermore this soul becomes
corrupted by the sin of Adam that his progeny have within them, it is innate
and is in need of renewal, a rebirth and this can only come from God. If man
could save himself, if he had the power to do so, if all he had to do was to
recognize God, and seeing that by doing so he would live now free from the
throes of sin; this he will not do, this he cannot do, for if he can bring sin
into his life then he would have the power to remove sin from his life, but
this he cannot do; it takes that which is greater than himself; it takes God.
Adam mane depository of sin and that sin was transmitted from the corrupt
nature of Adam to his progeny and that which God was pleased to give, or endow
man with, that human nature, that which was lost, that which was not lost for
Adam but for all his posterity, those lost qualities can only be restored by
the creator who created the soul in the first place.
God gives
the faith to those who He has chosen to give it, and it is by this faith that a
man can believe upon God, His Son Jesus Christ and the Holy Spirit and be
reborn. God is enabling, drawing, and giving, and those who belong to Him will
respond to Him. Do you hear this call? Are you willing to allow this faith to
guide your life, to renew you, to make you free from the wrath of God. If so,
then pray and praise God for it by Him that this is possible, the removal of
Original Sin, and a new and sanctified life, to be forensically now in heaven,
to live eternally. This is not something to hope for; it is a sure and
fulfilled promise of God. God has not time, is not subject to time, and in Him
all things are done, but, and this is an important but, we are now, in this
life allow God to have sway in our life, and by this then we know that we are a
child of God and heaven is our home.
Not everyone who says to Me,
“Lord,
Lord, have we not
prophesied in Your name, cast out
demons in
Your name, and
done many wonders in Your name?
And then I
will declare to them,
“I never knew you; depart from Me,
you who
practice lawlessness!
