Let Us Take Time To Remember This Date: An Infamous Date Thrust Upon The Citizens Of The United States

Put on the whole armor of God,

that you may be able to stand

against the wiles of the devil.

For we do not wrestle against 

flesh and blood, but against

the rulers of he darkness of 

this age, against spiritual hosts 

of wickedness in the heavenly places.

Therefore take up the whole armor

of God, that you may be able

to withstand in the evil day, 

and having done all, to stand.

Ephesians 6:11-13

      I break away for a moment to meditate and consider this date, a date of infamy, a date whereby some 3,000 United State citizens lost their lives in an unprovoked attack upon this nation.  As we remember this date look deeply into the event.  Some people were surely killed instantly never knowing what happened.  Others were maimed and died knowing of the tragic event but not knowing why this occurred or what actually occurred.  Some running for their lives died as walls came crashing down, fire licking up the oxygen, burning everything insight.  Those men and women, firefighters who rushed to save all they could only to die in their efforts.  Many were overcome by the smoke, the dust, and carry with them in their bodies the effect of this horrendous act. For some of us all we could do is watch this act unfold before our eyes on TV with sadness, fear, and asking why?   Maybe you, a Christian ask why? The Bible answer for us this question.
     Paul in writing to the Ephesians tells us to "put on the whole armor of God," for we are wrestling with the effects of sin, and the deceiver, the liar, the one that mislead the original pair in the Garden of Eden. Our fight is with those wicked powers, those angels that followed the lead of Satan and now in their demonic rage aid Satan in his quest of destroy God's people. How does Satan and his demons cause this to happen?  By leading people into false religions.  False ideologies, those ideologies and religions that are not of God, even those who might claim to be Christian often are not following God's word and their "truth" is not Authentic Biblical Truth.  When your religion is false, then your actions are evil.  Yes, many of those who are living in false religions ideologies do good things, but they are still living in a false belief.  This false belief leads them to do evil acts. Men and women who are even so-called Atheists, with all the good they may do, will acquiesce to evil whether tacitly, or even at time actively.  Evil people are following after Satanic beliefs and as seen on this infamous date, will kill innocent people, even killing themselves all for some glory to a false god, a false belief. 

      How do Christians protect themselves?  Put on the whole armor of God, and when an evil day comes upon you then you will be able to stand, stand for the truth, stand for the God who is good, and will make good come out of all the evil that evil men may impose upon others. What is need is the good news, and that God will be gracious and merciful to give to them the faith they need so that they can decide to follow Him, not some false religious idea, rather to follow the truth of God unadulterated word. We pray, we know, that is, you know if you are an Authentic Biblical Christian, that God allows man to do whatever man desires to do, and then by His Providence causes all things to work together for good (Romans 8:28). Man may think that they are without penalty for whatever they do, and that what they do is holy, righteous, etc., but when their beliefs are contradictory to God's revealed word, they are not without God knowing and without God dealing with their unrighteousness:  "For God will bring every work into judgment, including every secret thing, whether good or evil" (Ecclesiastes 12:14). This truth of God's word should bring us to our knees for God is not just judging the works of evil men but of all men and all men will give an account for their lives: "And I saw the dead, small and great, standing before God, and books were opened, which is the Book of Life.  And the dead wee judged according to their works, by the things which were written in the books.  The sea gave up the dead who were in it, and Death and Hades delivered up the dead who were in them.  And they were judged, each one according to his works" (Revelation 20: 12-13). How important is it then to know the truth, to live the truth, to flee from teachings that are not of God, even if they say they are, and that their god is the correct one? The Bible is clear, all men, wherever they are, dead or alive, in the grave, in the sea, will be judged according to their works.  Then it is most important that we have the truth imbedded in us, reliable truth due to our deep study, our prayer for guidance, and our willingness to make the necessary changes so that we are not living in any false beliefs, religions, or even to call ourselves agnostic, maybe even atheist. 

      Sin, false beliefs made cause for people to kill, to maim, and to destroy. We as Authentic Biblical Christians know that if God allows this then God has a purpose for our faith in God is based on His word, not some man's writings, not some men who claim to have seen God, or have some revelation from God, rather from His word that has been the teaching of Authentic Biblical Christians from the foundation of the Church. 

      Here are things we need to consider:  Destruction may come at anytime, by those who are not following God according to His word.  We need to be prepared. How? When it is said to put on the whole armor of God, it means to know His truth, His word, and to apply that word in our lives every day, every moment, and when we fail in some way to fall on our knees and beg forgiveness, and our merciful God will forgive, but notice this one fact, the consequences of our actions may not be removed, but they will be revealed at the throne of God when He comes again, for His people, and to destroy the destroyers. Pray for those who are affected by this infamous date.  Remember it, do not forget it, as we should not forget the fact that we as a Nation from the Revolutionary War whereby we won our independence to be a free people, and a people that have protected many others around the world due to our foundational beliefs, those beliefs that are founded on the Bible, so that to attack a free people who are doing all they can to fight evil wherever it may be, even though not always done perfectly, is nothing more that cowardly, and done in the name of a god, a false god, a false belief that leads to evil.  Only as a Christian that fully believes that God is in control and that evil men may do what the desire, God will not allow this to go on forever, as He did not before the flood.  We pray for the survivors, those men, women and children who lost their loves ones, their friends, that the God of peace will bring His loving peace into their lives, and that they too will put their faith in the One True God, and that while not always understandable, we do understand our God and His promises.  We will not forget this date, and we will prepare ourselves to live out the Gospel, to preach the Gospel. We are ambassadors for Jesus Christ.

Fear God and keep His

     commandments, for

this is man's all.
