Authentic Christians do what the Bible says to do: "Test all (the Greek carries the meaning of everything) things: hold fast that which is good" (1Thessalonians 5: 21). So then, let's test the above verses: 1. The Greek have two words for "if" so we must determine why the Holy Spirit and the writer John, in this case use a particular "if." The Greek word used here is subjunctive. And this means that it may be done and it may not be done (the othe "if" means that when you do it, and to occur), and in this case you may or may not love God but if you do, if you loved the Lord Jesus Christ, if this is really true of you that you love Jesus Christ then you will manifest an exercise His commandments. If you're love is in the word only and not indeed, that is, that you're not a doer of the word, then you should not expect that Jesus Christ would pray for you. If you do love the Lord Jesus Christ and keep his commandments then he will pray (the Greek word here simply means that he would ask as it is not the usual were used for pray) for you and He shall give you another Comforter. Jesus would give it another comforter? Yes! Jesus Christ is our comforter and after he leaves this earth he will send another one who will stand alongside of you and you know the Greek word Paraclete, and means to be called alongside. The Comforter will not come and go, rather If you are an Authentic Christian with Authentic Christian Faith then the Comforter will remain with you for ever. Jesus makes a promise to all who love Him and keep His commandments that He will not leave you. It is clear in these verses that all three persons of the Trinity are mentioned, the father At, Jesus Christ the Only Begotten Son, and Holy Spirit, joining them together to be all of the same essence and are the Godhead.
The world is said that it cannot recede this true and the Greek word is two words meaning not to have the power to receive it and the reason why because it does not see Him. And how does the world not see Him? The answer is more than not just being able to gaze upon him, to be a spectator but not to be able to behold him with interest and attention, to be able to contemplate and mentally or consider, not even able to perceive so that they come to knowledge. The simple fact is: they do not want to know God and change their lifestyle and for cultural Christians may want to develop a Jesus Christ according to their desires and not according to Scripture. Cultural Christians are cultural Christians because they are part of this world that does not want to know Jesus Christ. Oh! They say they love Jesus and they say that they want to serve Him and a goal about attempting to serve in some way but the problem is they are doing it with the wrong motives. it is not just a matter of immorality for they do pursue a moral life in some way or the other but they do it so that they might find God to please Him and save them so it is a matter of works according to cultural Christian.
Authentic Christians in the end are living examples and keep God's commandments no matter the cost for was not from the very words of Jesus that we were to deny ourselves and pick up our cross and follow Him? Yes! Authentic Christians are ethical people, and a ethical purchase is one who does the right thing even when no one is watching. For instance we are told to be in subjection to the higher authorities by Paul and he was speaking there not a bit higher authorities of the church, but the higher authorities of our government and if that government has so determined and it is not immoral, and it is not, that a speed limit is set at a certain speed and we willfully and deliberately he nor that law which is not in contradiction to Scripture can we say we are being an ethical person? you see an ethical person is ethical and small things as well as the large thing And As an Authentic Christian we should grow into such an image of Jesus Christ that we do not think twice when it comes to keeping the law of the land when it is not in contradiction to Scripture. Abortion is in contradiction to Scripture so we need to do all we can to stop that horrible killing of human babies. I don't mean being violent for we have the ability in this country to bring this case before the law.
We have all the support we need to create a case for authentic Christianity. We have the evidence of the claims of Jesus Christ and if we have followed the words of Paul and examined every proof from prophecy, the miracles, the character of Jesus Christ, and the nature and excellence of the practical instructions of Authentic Christian Faith and the amazing way the doctrines of faith complement the practical actions of the faith, then we have the responsibility to be Authentic Christian. What more do you need? We can see the reality of the faith and the lives of others who live out Authentic Christian Faith yes, at times it may seem irrational, this Christian faith, but we have the strength of all the evidence that comes together to establish the credibility of Authentic Christian Faith.
He hath showed His people the
power of His works, that He
may give them the heritage of the heathen.
The works of His hands are verity and judgment;
all his That commandments are sure. They stand fast
forever and ever, and are done in truth and righteousness. He sent redemption unto His people:
He hath commanded His covenant for ever:
holy and reverend is His name.
