What Is All This Racket? Knocking, Calling?

I counsel thee to buy of Me gold tried in the fire,
that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment,
that thou mayest be clothed, and that
the shame of thy nakedness do not appear;
and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve that
thou mayest see. As many as I love, I rebuke
and chasten: be zealous therefore,
and repent. Behold, I stand at the door,
and knock: if any many man hear My voice,
and open the door, I will come in to him,
and will sup with him, and he with Me.
To him that overcometh will I grant to sit
with me in My throne, even as I also overcame,
and am set down twith My Father in
His throne. He that hath an ear, let him hear
what the Spirit saith unto the churches.
Revelation 3:18-22

The Spirit, Jesus Christ, gives to us as He did for the Church in Laodicea to listen to His words, words of advice, to consult together and that consultation is if you want to be a child of God, you must buy what is being offered to buy. It is not only what is being offered to buy that is important, it if from whom you are to buy. You do not just buy from anyone, or buy just what is offered, you examine, you make sure that the one selling or giving you something is good, not of poor quality. Is the one selling or giving an ethical person, or good report? What is being offered by the Spirit to the Churches is something that has been proven by fire, the impurities are burned away, as when a metal worker heats metal to be used to make a quality product. If you buy properly then you will not be harmed or caused to be poor, you will be rich, clothed in good clothes and not nakedness which is that others may see your poor choice. Furthermore, If you buy this gold from Jesus you will get something for your eyes, eyesalve that is important so that you can see and not see things in a blurred manner. Why would not a person take care in purchasing, or hearing or seeing a thing, a theology, an ideology, or a philosophy without taking the time to examine whether it be worthy or not?
Today the word love has such a loose meaning for a person can "love" just about anything that they like or want:i.e., "I love my car," or "I love my dress," or "I love this food," all inanimate objects that cannot give love to a person, and can only be likable. "Love" is a word that has lost its real meaning which is a feeling that is profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person, a deep affection, especially when the other can give love back to you. A problem in our modern society is that we have conjoined "love," with 'like." The word "like" has several meanings or connotations, but as a verb it means to take pleasure in, or find agreement with something, or even someone. "Like" is a kindly or friendly feeling, and it should not be used to "love" something or someone, even though "like" is a first step towards loving. Love is not just one-sided, and love, true love is not to just accept whatever or from whomever and at times love means to chasten another and this because you have love for that someone. To allow a wife, a husband, a child, or even a friend to just do whatever even if you know it is wrong, or harmful and do nothing is not love in action, it is tacitly approving of what is wrong. There is no help in apathy! Love, even if it must chastise is true love in action and Jesus Christ Who love you so much that He died just for you, to pay your debt so that you can inherit the promise of eternal life, will chasten you if necessary. Unfortunately, it to often necessary for our sinful nature fights against the leading of the Holy Spirit. Jesus shows love in action for stands at the door, what door? The door to your heart, to your mind, to you as a person, and calls to you, and you, if you are trying to listen will hear His voice. His voice may be very quiet, or very loud, anything that will cause you to hear Him. If you will hear His knocking, His voice, then you will be invited to "sup" with Him. This meal to "sup" with Jesus Christ is an unusual meal: "The Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, except ye eat the flesh of he Son of man, and drink His blood, ye have no life n you. Whose eateth My flesh, and drinketh My blood, hath eternal life, and I will raise him up at the last day. For My flesh is mat indeed. He that eateth My flesh and drinketh My blood, dwelleth in Me, and I in him. As the living Father hath sent Me, and I live by the Father: so he that eateth Me, even he shall live by Me" (John 6:53-56). This "sup" with Jesus is not that He just give to you without you accepting, and giving to Him all that He requires of you and for the purpose He called, and knocked so that you can have this meal that give life eternal. You must be an overcomer if you are to enjoy this meal, to be one who has been called, to be of the "called-out ones," the Church of God. You will be accepted and have the right to sit on the throne with Jesus, not that you will be a "god," as do the Mormons teach, no, that you will have all that Jesus gives to you, salvation, power, and life eternal. Jesus Christ came to earth and while never losing His Godship for He is the Wisdom of God, now clothed in flesh, it was the fact that He was flesh and blood, as with any other human being that He manifested that He came to do the will of God and He never wavered from His mission. We now can by the power of the Holy Spirit that was and is given to men and women who will believe that Jesus is the Savior and is God come in flesh live in such a way that we will not sin. If we do make a mistake, or sin that does not lead to death, we can repent and not do that ever again, it is within us to will to do the will of God. He that has an ear to hear, then hear!

Fools because of their transgression,
     and because of their iniquities,
are afflicted. Their soul abhoreth
all manner of meat: and they draw
near unto the gates of death. Then
they cry unto the LORD in their
trouble, and He saveth them out
    of their distresses.
                      Psalm 107:17-19

Come to the supper prepared for you
