Why Celebrate July 4th?

The wicked flee when no man prusueth:
but the righteous are bold as a lion.
For the transgression of a land many
are the  princes thereof: but by a
man of understanding and knowledge
the state thereof shall be prolonged.
Proverbs 28:1-2

Yes, I did not return this day to the study of 1Timothy. This I will do on Monday, Lord willing.
July 4, 1776, a day in history when the Declaration of Independence was adopted declaring our separation from Great Britain. In 1941 this day, July 4th was made a national holiday. This is the most important holiday of all our holidays for this day is for us to remember why the United States was formed: one reason: Freedom! Freedom was not free then, and not now, it has cost the lives of many, maiming many, just so that we can have the freedoms outlined in the Constitution ratified in Convention September 17, 1787. Many have been and are attempting to destroy this document and in its place placing another form of government and as anyone can see Sharia Law has precedence over other religions, especially Christianity. Homosexuality has laws now in place making them to be a special people with special laws just for them, they even have the blessing of the president (Obama) and others in government something that the founding fathers of this nation would never allow. Freedoms are not antinomy, and those who desire to to be free to do what ever they desire under the guise and misuse of our Constitution are taking away the very freedoms assured in our Constitution.
Now this is of great concerns to any Authentic Christian but Authentic Christians know Scripture and know the Lord and creator of the universe and have comfort that nothing goes on that God does not know and will allow for a time, but not forever and as Authentic Christians we know that our home is eternal and heavenly. This does not mean that we sit back and allow injustice to continue for in our nation, the United States we have the right to amend the Constitution under Article V of our Constitution. That means we are to be active, to take part in the governing of our nation, it is our responsibility to uphold the justice of God. We do this in accordance with The Constitution. Do not dismay, fret, become fearful. Paul, James, Peter, Philip, and others faced trials, persecutions, death, harm, just because they were Christians, so you too are being confronted by those who would destroy you, your children, and change the freedoms into slavery to a law, i.e., Sharia Law for one. Those early Christians did not have a law that would protect them as we do in the United States: use it! It is yours, and mine, responsibility as Christians, and as citizens of the United States.
Tomorrow is July 4th, do not make this day to just be a holiday where you do not have to work, and just play forgetting the why we celebrate this day. Take time to teach your children why we celebrate this day, and as to their responsibilities as citizens of the United States. We as Christians can affect change, and as any examination of history where Christianity thrived, government became moral, and freedoms were enacted. May you become active in your role as a Christian and citizen of the United States, pray, study the Bible, make your election sure, and enjoy what this nation founded when it declared its separation from Great Britain and all the harshness of that government.

Shall mortal man be more just than God?
shall a man be more pure than his maker?
Behold, he put no trust in his servants; and
his angels he charged with folly; how much
less in them that dwell in houses of clay,
whose foundations is in the dust, which
are crushed before the moth? they are destroyed
from morning to evening: they perish for ever
without any regarding it. Doth not their excellency
which is in them go away? They die, even
without wisdom.
                           Job 4: 17-21

Celebrate your freedoms
