Is Jesus God? How Can Jesus Be The Promised Savior?

And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us,
(and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the
 Only Begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth......
No man hath seen God at any time;
 the Only Begotten Son which is in the
bosom of the Father,
He hath declared Him.
John 1: 14;18

     Verse 14 gives more about verse 1, the Word Who was in the beginning (this means then that there was a time without a beginning), and was with the Father, and the Word was God. John the Baptist tells us that Jesus, the Word, manifested His glory, the glory of the Only Begotten of the Father, and more, Jesus was full of grace and truth. How could Jesus be with the Father? Was and is not the Father all that there is unless He allows for another space? If God allowed for another space for Jesus and for the angels, then the beginning would be then, but, Jesus is said to be in the "bosom" of the Father, so how could this be? How could and He is the Only One who is said to be in the bosom of the Father, no angel has this declaration. The phrase gives us the answer: Jesus, the Word, was, (this is not the Greek word in this verse), it is this: " ὢν", First person singular present indicative, a prolonged form of a primary and defective verb: I exist, so the translation reads Who is, in the present time. So how could this be in the present time in the "bosom" of the Father? The context gives the answer: the Word is eternal and essential, of the same essence as the Father, not just to be figuratively used to denote a place of blessedness, no the Word in all its blessedness is manifested that He is God, God the Word, the Second Person of the Trinity. How can anyone be begotten? There must be one who begets. To be one who is begotten is of the same essence as the one who begets. Example: your children! Let us look at this further: verse 3: "All things were made by Him; and without Him was not anything made that was made. In Him was life; and the life was the light of men" (John 1:2-4a). If Jesus was created, (as the Jehovah Witnesses preach) then why do we not see this written for us to know? How could Jesus be the one who created "all" things if not to be the one who created Jesus? Jesus, God Himself, came to earth: PERIOD! No other being could be the Savior and have salvation last forever and be  such a being that that being would never fall from grace? Did not Lucifer fall from grace? Yes! Now, the angels left behind after the fall of Lucifer manifested their faith and loyalty to God. Jesus is never said to be as the angels, no, Jesus was in the "bosom" of God, for He is God. Your salvation is eternal: you cannot lose your salvation for Jesus will never let you out of His hand. Well....you must be placed into the hand of Jesus and this is by receiving the faith that leads to repentance and a believing in Jesus as the Messiah, the One who came to die for sin and applies that propitiation to all who come to Him in faith. All this is be the grace of God, by the mercy of God, and by His love for the cross whereby He made all this possible.
     It is the cross that is missing from much of the preaching today. We have to much of Dr. Phil type of psychological preaching and people are getting their itching ears scratched, but they are missing the foundational truth of Christianity: they are sinners, and in need of a Savior and that Savior is missing in this liberal preaching and teaching. Jesus is not a mode of God: Jesus is not a created being: Jesus is the One who is God, who died for sin, who will give you eternal life, sanctification, justification, now and for eternity.
     God did not leave heaven! God did put His essence into a Man making that man to be both Man and God, in unity, hypostatic union. You can have faith in Him, and you can receive salvation. Question: Will you put your faith in Him? Can you see from Scripture just who Jesus is? Today, right now; this is the time to come to Jesus, repent, and believe. God will give to you that sinners do not have: the Holy Spirit to guide you and seal you forever. Praise God! It is all God! All you have to do is receive His gift.

Let all those that seek Thee rejoice
    and be glad in Thee: let such as
love Thy salvation say continually,
    The LORD be magnified.

Don't put off salvation
