The Despising Of God

...that no man go beyond and
defraud his brother in any matter:
because that the Lord is the
avenger of all such, as we also
have forewarned you and testified.
Our God hath not called us unto
uncleanness, but unto holiness.
He therefore that despiseth,
despiseth not man, but God, who
hath also given unto us His Holy Spirit.
1Thessalonians 4:6-8

Have you ever watched a "judge" television show? It is very eye opening to see how little people can be over so little and will not attend to the needs of the other but demand some sort of satisfaction, or self-satisfaction. Furthermore, there are times when a "Christian" is suing another "Christian," and often over very little money and are attempting to bring self-satisfaction when all this does is throw "dirt" upon Christianity. Paul had written to the Corinthians: "Dare any of you, have a matter against another, go to law before the unjust, and not before the saints? Do ye not know that the saints shall judge the world? And if he world shall be judged by you, are ye unworthy to judge the smallest matters? Know ye no that we shall judge angels? How much more things that pertain t this life? If then ye have judgments of things pertaining to this life, set them to judge who are least esteemed in the church. I speak to your shame. Is it so, that there is not one that shall be able to judge between his brethren? But brother goeth to law with brother, and that before the unbelievers. Now therefore there is a fault among you, because ye go to law one with another. Why do ye not rather suffer yourselves to be defrauded? Nay, ye do wrong, and defraud, and that your brethren. Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God" 1Corinthians 6:1-9a)?
Oh! how much we love those good old verses that do not demand much of us, they are so good to the heart, make feel so worthy, and we cling to them while we ignore those verses that make us feel as sinners. Everyone seems to know John 3:16, can quote it by heart even though they do not know the true meaning of that verse but it makes them feel godly just to know the verse. Jesus' words are harsh, demanding, "deny yourself," "take up your cross," become perfected by transforming yourself into the image of Jesus Christ. So many transfer those words to mean to be working for God, Jesus Christ, rather than working with Him. Most Churches do not have a body of leaders who will judge those who are sinning, or have a problem with another Christian and will not follow even the words of Jesus: "Moreover if thy brother shall trespass against thee, go and tell him his fault between thee ad him alone: if he shall hear thee, thou hast gained thy brother. But if he will not hear thee, then take with thee one or two more, that in the mouth of two or three witnesses every word may be established. And if he shall neglect to hear them, tell it unto the church, let him be unto thee as an heathen man and a publican" (Matthew 18:15-17).
God has called us to be righteous and not to uncleanness, to be holy, and this means to not take our brother or sister before secular courts. Yes, you may suffer loss of money, yet does not God love you and will care for you and bless you when you are obedient to Him? Yes! Will He give you back your lost money? Maybe, or maybe not, it does not matter for God will care for you in any circumstances you may be in, it obedience that is required, faith, truth Authentic Christian Faith. Do not be one that is throwing dirt, accusations against Christianity, be an Authentic Christian, you are just passing through this world, your home is with God eternally, therefore their is nothing this world can do against you.
Authentic Christians are unlike any other form of Christianity or some other pagan religion. We are a child of God and we have God who has saved us and has given us a new name, a home eternally and this all because Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay this debt owed to Himself. Will you be an Authentic Christian?

Now therefore, O our God,
hear the prayer of thy servant,
and his supplications, and cause
thy face to shine upon thy
sanctuary that is desolate,
     for the Lord's sake.
                   Daniel 9:17
