Walking By Faith And Not By Sight

Therefore, if anyone is in Christ,
he is a new creation;
all things have passed away;
behold, all things are become new.
Now all things are of God,
who has reconciled us to Himself
through Jesus Christ, and has given
us the ministry of reconciliation,
that is, that God was in Christ
reconciling the world to Himself,
not imputing their trespasses to them,
and has committed to us the word
of reconciliation.
2 Corinthians 5: 17 -- 19

       There are two very important points in the first that must be addressed: 1.  New creation.  2: The ministry of reconciliation. There are other important points as well, i.e., God reconciled through Jesus Christ and does not impute your trespasses against those lean upon Him.  You are who you believe you are of to be!  You have come to believe who you are by what you have learned through others and how you have been affected by certain circumstances and experiences in your life.  Therefore, you are what is your foundational beliefs, and your worldview, developed through ideology and philosophy.  The problem here is that your foundational beliefs may have not been developed through theology, not just any theology but that which is based upon the truth of Scripture and not by some man's idea or theories.  Do you believe that you are saved?  If so, what is your idea in regards to your salvation of your soul?  This is where your foundational basis must be based: upon the truth of Scripture for that is how you become who you are and what you believe.  The experience of salvation is not what some teach, that is, those doctrinal beliefs that one must find the supernatural.  And you do this by doing this by doing exercises, both antics and gyrations, and as I have mentioned those who teach that you are to experience salvation from running to and fro going about trying to bring forth some sort of healing or by means of signs for people.  The fact, the experience of salvation means that in your actual life things are really altered, and you no longer look at things as you used to, for your desires are new, old things have lost their power.  How does it work out an actual life?  Ask yourself this question when you are about to go to some event or do something: would you take Jesus to sit alongside you?  God alters the things that matter and this is a touchstone of your experience of salvation.  If you are still hankering, desiring, those old things, then how can you talk about being born from above if you are juggling with yourself?  To be born again means that the Spirit of God makes the alteration manifest in your actual life and reconciliation so that when a crisis come, a decision that must be made you must then ask that question in regards to Jesus being with you then you will find a certain amazement because of the difference is that in you and this by the decisions that you have made in regard to the Holy Spirit leading you.  Ask yourself this question: what difference has my salvation and sanctification made?  Are you allowing the Holy Spirit to work out God's salvation and you know that you are His entirely and you are now walking in the light as God is in the light?  Is it so with you that God sees nothing to sensor because His life is working out in every particular, and not just to your consciousness, but even deeper than your consciousness.  The title of these blogs has never changed: Faith Considered--Changing From The Inside—Out.  Is this occurring with you?  Are you so full of prejudices that you're not allowing our Lord to mortify them so that you run clean without them?  God is not interested in a particular prejudice even though at times we think God will not deal with as He deals with other people, especially those sinners: "For if we sin willfully after we have received the knowledge of the truth, they're no longer remains a sacrifice for sins, but a certain fearful expectation of judgment, and fiery indignation which will devour the adversaries" (Hebrews 10: 26.27).  The writer of Hebrews is not writing to sinful people; he is writing to Christians.  God is deliberately wiping out to prejudices in those activities that we were once part of that were not and are not according to His truthful commands.  God pays no respect to anything we bring Him.  Why?  There's only one thing God wants of us, and that is our unconditional surrender.  And this can only occur if we change from the inside/out.  We must not allow not even a smidgen or a bit of the old life to be left in us, rather to have only simple perfect trust in God and such a trust that even if God was to remove His blessings, we would still trust in Him.  Look close, can you see God act work?  If so, nothing can bother you about anything that could happen to you from the world cannot see, but you can see in this we can do by prayer and study of his word: "For we walk by faith, not by sight" (2 Corinthians 5:7).

Through the LORD’S mercies
            we are not consumed,
because His compassion's fail not.
            They are new every morning;
great is Your faithfulness.
            "The LORD is my portion,"
says my soul, "therefore I have hope in Him!"
                        Lamentations 3: 22 -- 24

You are reconciled to God through Christ
