Knowing These Things: Do Them

For I have given you an example, that ye should 

do as I have done to you.Verily, verily,

 I say unto you, The servant is not greater 

than his lord; neither he that is sent greater 

than he that sent him. If ye know these things,

 happy are ye if ye do them.

     The Gospel is that Jesus is the promised Messiah and that He came into this world by the Holy Spirit entering into the womb of Mary and there conjoined with the DNA of Mary with DNA of God (DNA is what determines life), lived on this earth and died an innocent Man upon the cross, was buried, rose again on the third day, and then ascended into heaven where there He sits at the right hand of God, the place of favor due to His obedience while on earth, to make for all who believe upon Him a home, salvation, eternal life. 

     This did Jesus even though no man deserves this from God. Jesus, God Himself, came to give to you what you do not deserve and all He asks of you is to repent of your sins and believe upon Him. This is at the very heart of Christianity and Jesus is the supreme example for men. Liberal Christians want to reconstruct the Gospel message to fit their theology, even their ideology, even if they, and they have, as pointed out in the previous blog about the Passion translation, changed things outside of the language as written by men of the first century. When Jesus is reconstructed only disaster can follow for any reconstruction as to Jesus is to not follow Him. If you are not following Jesus, as He taught us, then you are more like the traitor Judas who had walked, talked, and lived with Jesus for some three years and then reconstructed Jesus to be evil and gave the Pharisees what they needed to have Him killed. This reconstruction has been an ongoing work from the very foundation of Christianity, and yet, today, in our modern liberal Christians, those leaders, pastors, and teachers have changed Jesus to fit their imaginations of Him. 

     I have heard so often that the claims of Jesus were extravagant claims and yet when examined there the truth is to be found, they are sober truth. Here are some words of Jesus that confused a liberal for He said "That if a man cometh to me and hateth not his father and mother....he canto be My disciple" (Matthew 10:37): this the liberal Christian despises for they speak that we are to go and "love" upon on people. This is not what Jesus said to us. He said take Me to the world, teach them about Me, show them the way to Me, this is the love of the Father which should be in a person if they are to truly love another person. 

      Jesus is more than "just" an example and Guide, this they may regard as good, and true, more than what a liberal Christian regards of Christianity, or Jesus who believe that He is the fairest flower of humanity: this may in some sense be true, but this is not what Authentic Christians hold as who Jesus is: Jesus for Authentic Christians is a supernatural Person and this is to be found all throughout the New Testament. The New Testament gives to us a fact: Jesus is God, Jesus is not an ordinary Person, yes He was a man in the flesh but not like any other man, for His Father was God this makes Jesus supernatural and out of the ordinary. 

      "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God" (John !:1). This is a great mystery and it should be for man cannot fathom  this fact because it lies outside of humanity and human reasoning. Therefore the Gospel manifests to the world that this Jesus is the Savior, no one else can fit that bill, no one else can claim that fact as they have nothing upon which to build their religious beliefs. Liberal Christians build upon a fantasy Jesus and by this are misleading people away from the true Gospel. What a ploy by the Devil: use Christianity against Authentic Christians, to change Authentic Christian Faith into a faith built upon a man's theology. 

     What do you regard Jesus to be? Are you doing the work that Jesus showed us to do: take the Good News to the world, a lost and dying world in their sins? Or have you succumbed to this gospel of "love" which is not the Gospel?
