The Folly of Faulty Theology

O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil,
speak good things? For out of the abundance
of the heart the mouth speaketh. A good man
out of the good treasure of the heart bringeth
forth good things: and an evil man out the
evil treasure bringeth forth evil things.
For I say unto you, That every idle word
that a man shall speak, they shall give
account thereof in the day of judgment.
For be thy words thou shalt be justified,
and by they words thou shalt be condemned.
Matthew 12:34-37

Jesus Christ does not mince words, or sugar coat them so not to offend. It was not that people were not god-minded people, it was that they had a theology that was not according to the truth of Scripture. Faulty theology has been a plague upon the true Church of God, and has affected men and women who desire to be Authentic Christians with Authentic Christian Faith. Faulty theology is plaguing the Christian Church today. Nominal, or cultural Christians have a defect that can be traced back to misunderstanding, more than that, it is a radical misunderstanding leading to a radical form or worship that honors them, not God. It is faulty doctrines that come from a heart of fallen men who will not, and for many reasons, come to teach the truth. Oh! They profess that they teach the truth but their manifestation of their truth demonstrates that they are teaching another gospel. What is missing from cultural, nominal, or liberal Christians is the transforming power and influence of the Holy Spirit. This is a major difference between Authentic Christians and cultural, nominal, or liberal Christians. This is a critical difference.
My research on men who have been leaders in the Church is that they do want to serve God. This cannot be denied. A problem, often, is that they become influenced by the culture of their times. Furthermore, they read, study, and come to some acceptance of those who themselves have been influenced by the culture and by those who teach another gospel. Common people through some circumstance of life seek God, seek faith, and this through some loss, or a death of a love one, or friend. People begin to seek some meaning for life, for their life and often they become aware that they have offended God so they set out to find God, to find faith, and come to some personal reformation. This is not all bad, in fact it is the way many people come to find God. People want change in their lives, they want understanding of what is the real problem and they become aware that they need to make changes in their life. So, they become involved in religion.
Johnny Lee sang this song: "Looking for love in all the wrong places" and this is true for many people who are seeking truth, faith, God, and this they do by looking in all the wrong places. Character has as it foundation a person' religious beliefs. Character is malleable, can be changed, can be reformed and it by what is causing this malleability that is important. If it is be faulty theology then their faith will be faulty, their idea of God will be faulty, and their exercise of faith will be faulty. The bottom of this is a person' lace of sense as to the radical spiritual condition and not acknowledging the solution for their condition, that is the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. This leads to attempting to fix things by more means, means that never work. William Shakespear wrote: "They do but skim and film the ulcerous place, while rank corruption, mining all within, infects unseen" (William Shakespear, Hamlet, act 3, scene 4, line 93). People who have come under the influence of faulty theology assume that they have become Christian, but if they do take the time to examine, (as we are commanded to do) they will see that they are not following the standards set forth by Jesus Christ, or they just fall back into a contented complacency regarding Authentic Christian Faith. Honest seekers for the truth will find that those who teach and preach a faulty theology are teaching evil, are themselves evil and will be worthy of judgment on the last day when all men will give an account of their lives, this includes all that they believe and have done.
God will forgive you, now, at this time, you do not have to wait, in fact, you do not want to wait for at the judgment seat it will be too late for God to forgive you. This is God's time, the judgment seat, to separate the sheep from the goats. What are you? Sheep, or a goat? Look to God's word, pray for guidance and do not allow yourself to be led by any man, by any theology, a theology that is not found in Scripture. You do not have to do anything, no work, nothing, all you must do to be saved is believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and you will be saved: "I said therefore to you that ye shall die in your sins: for if ye believe not that I am He, ye shall die in your sins" (John 8:24). "and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and believe the gospel" (Mark 1:15). "Jesus answered and said unto them, This is he word of God, that ye believe on Him whom He hath sent" (John 6:29). "That whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have eternal life" (John 3:15). "For by grace are ye saved through faith: and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8).
Have you gotten the point? It is not by any man's teaching or doctrine, not by Calvin, Luther, Swingli, Whitefield, Wesley, Edwards, Bill Johnson, Arminius, or anyone else, NO! It is by first coming to know that you need a Savior, and then read His word, is not this the place where faith can be found? Yes! (Romans 10:17). Faith is free! Faith is offered to you! Seek the truth and this by examining all that is being preached, taught, you do not have to exercise faith in some euphoric manner, no, you just have to follow the plain and clear teachings of Jesus Christ, reaffirmed by the the writers of the Bible who God chose and inspired to write so that we can have help in our time of need. Do not try to impress others by your faith, just live it! Hard? Yes! Can it be done? Yes! Will you do it?
Shall mortal man be more just than God?
shall a man be more pure than his maker?
....Call now, if there be any that will answer thee;
and to which of the saints wilt thou turn?
                       Job 4:17; 5:1

The saved will live by faith
